ABOUT SDG MUSIC MINISTRY   SDG is the music ministry of Dan Meredith. Formerly known as Meredith Music Ministry, it was Dan's desire that the ministry not be named after him. SDG stands for the Latin - Soli Deo Gloria - Alone to God be the Glory.   Today, there is a lot of "marketing" that masquerades as "ministry." Following the Lord's leading, Dan began offering his recordings and public performances for free two years ago. Someone once said, "The Gospel came to the Greeks and it became a philosophy. The Gospel came to Europe and became a culture. The Gospel came to America and they made it a business." (This isn't the exact quote. If you know this quote and its source, please send us an e-mail.)   Of course, creating recordings for distribution costs money. In order to make it possible for us to distribute music without charge, we have done away with traditional CD packaging and marketing. This website was created as an economical way to make the music available to all who wish to hear it. We pray that its message will worship the Lord and challenge your heart.   Our policy is to never ask for money in anyway. There will never be an appeal for funds. We rely on God by faith to provide. If the time comes when He no longer supplies the funds to support this ministry, we will simply take that as a sign from Him and shut it down.   You can be sure when you listen to a song or hear a message from Dan that he is not trying to "sell" you anything. He is simply sharing the love of Jesus and His message of salvation.   We don't ask for money, but there are two things you can do for us:   1. SPREAD THE WORD! To access the music, click on the Music Downloads Button in the option bar at left. Right-click (Mac users option-click) on the song title to download. You can use software like Apple Computer's free "iTunes" to listen on your computer or make audio CD's. (See our LINKS page)   The music is free to download and you are encouraged to share it with others or give them our web address and they can download for themselves. We do retain copyright on all of this music and while it may be freely shared, it may not be sold.   In addition to MP3 downloads, album covers and lyric sheets for are available for you to download and print.   We also have sheet music for many of our songs available to download.
